Customers were sometimes billed inflated prices, charged for services advertised as free, or offered improper “tax exemptions” in exchange for cash payments. The former employee documented these practices in work records, which were later subject to attempted alteration or erasure. After refusing to participate, the employee faced retaliation, including withheld wages, legal threats, and intimidation. Authorities have been notified, and the employee is prepared to provide records and sworn testimony to affected clients. Past customers of Floor Ko LLC are encouraged to review their transactions if they believe they may have been overcharged or misled.
